Simple Steps To Become A Part Of Us
It has been said: "A journey of a thousand miles
begins with the first step."

Our journey of living in a right relationship with God begins with
the first step of facing our condition of being a sinner: one who is separated
from God because of choices contrary to His will as revealed in Scripture.  
We must call on Him to find salvation and eternal life.
Romans 3:23 & Romans 10:13

The second step of finding the truth that God loves us just the way we are,
not as we should be and has shown His love for us through His Son,
Jesus Christ who died for us on the cross.
Romans 5:8 & Romans 6:23

The third step of focusing our faith totally on Christ in order to have
forgiveness of our sins by turning away from our former lifestyle
and turning to Him for peace and direction.
Romans 10:9-10

The fourth step of fitting ourselves in a group of believers through
baptism to symbolize our having a new life through Jesus Christ.
Romans 6:4

The fifth step of filling our new life through scripture study, prayer, worship,
and service through fellowship with other believers in a church setting.
Acts 2:42-47

If you are ready to take the first step, you can pray right now:
"Lord, I know I'm a sinner and I'm sorry for my sin.  I believe Jesus died for me
and I accept Him now.  Lord Jesus, come into my heart, forgive my sin
and make me the Christian You want me to be for I give my life to You."

Please note these two scriptures:
Isaiah 55:6-7 & Revelation 3:20
